Few pleasures are as perfect as sipping a refreshing glass of chilled Rosé on a hot summer day. The heat just seems to whet one's desire for a deliciously fresh wine.
Wouldn't you know it? Our Zinfandel Rosé is about as perfect, refreshing, delcious, and fresh as one can get. Definitely NOT your Grandma's white zin!
The fruit is crushed and the juice is left on the skins for an extended period. This gives the wine its unique rich, dark-rose color and helps develop its beautiful aromas. The juice is drawn off of the skins and fermented in stainless-steel tanks where it rests for a over a year before bottling. Crisp acid and ripe berry flavors make this beauty shimmer on the tongue before leaving a bright impression in your mouth.
100% Zinfandel, Russian River Valley
Patrick's Food Pairing Suggestions:
This bone-dry, high-acid rosé is a great match for so many different foods. I love it with Grilled Tuna, Swiss Fondue, or even a fun, spicy Jambalaya. Enjoy it with a salty, aged Gouda! Go out on the edge by ignoring the admonition to not pair wine with salad and try the Rosé with a fresh Insalata Caprese - IN SEASON! - with Mozzarella di Bufala and beautiful tomatoes.
