Tasting Note from Wine Reviews from WineLog.net
This wine shows classic Russian River Valley traits. First, are the deep dark fruit aromas with flavors of blackberry and spice. It has a smooth texture that is rich and inviting, full body, and a lingering finish.

Fantastic value. Soft fruit, soft oak, and a pleasant buttery finish make this an every-day wine that's not an "every-day" wine.

"Rich tropical fruit, balanced by a judicious amount of oak makes this stunning wine a complex, mouth-filling and totally satisfying experience." (Vintage NY) Same buttery finish as their EastEnd, but the entire experience is squared, if not cubed.

Pellegrini Chardonnay (Unoaked) 2006
Tasting Note from Wine Reviews from WineLog.net
The 2006 Pellegrini Chardonnay – Unoaked is a beautiful straw color with yellow and green highlights. This wine exhibits unmistakable Olivet Lane characteristics typified by brilliant color, silky texture, delicate mouthfeel, and upfront flavors of framboise, cherries and spice. Although enjoyable now, your patience will be rewarded as it will continue to mature beautifully with additional bottle age.

The acidity balance on this wine, almost to a metallic point, according to the New York Times, makes it, in my humble ...

Pellegrini Chardonnay (Unoaked) 2006
Tasting Note from Wine Reviews from WineLog.net
WinemakerÂ’s Notes: The 2006 Olivet Lane Estate Chardonnay has classic Burgundian notes of mineral, flint and wet stones evolving into hints of toasted bread crust. The mouth is rich and full-bodied with firm acidity, and the lingering finish is long and seamless. This wine is tasting great now and will ...
