Deep purple color with aromas of strawberry, cherry, oak, blackberry, and just a hint of paint-thinner. This wine is thick, warm, and smooth with good length. It has a smooth leathery-velvet flavor and pepper on the end. This is an excellent wine, but I wouldn't pay $150 for it on a regular basis...
