Clarendelle's website:
Clarendelle red 2003 reveals a deep purple colour with a nose of black currants, berries, liquorice with a hint of spice, vanilla, roasted coffee and black chocolate. The well balanced body is followed by a deep mid palate and supple tannins that lead to a textured and fleshy long finish...

I really like this as a dependable, easy to drink wine. I usually use it as a second bottle. Still very pleasant, but not a star on its own.
From the bottle:
Deep ruby colour with a hint of ochre. Rich complex Mediterranean aromas with exuberant notes of spices and blackberries. Velvety tannins are noted on the palate with elegant flavours of liquorice and small dark forest fruits (blueberries...

Thorn-Clarke Shotfire Shiraz 2006
Tasting Note from Wine Reviews from WineLog.net
Deep red in colour. The lifted nose has ripe rasberries and anise, with choc mint oak characters. The palate is full bodied with fantastic berry fruit, plums, liquorice and complexing oak. There is a great depth of fruit with savoury oak and mouth coating tannins. The fruit, oak and tannins all combine to give the wine great length of fl avour. This wine drinks well now and will age up to 7 years...

Tasting Note from Corkd.com

Regusci Winery is one of my favorite producers in Napa Valley. They are located at the base of the hills in Stags Leap behind Clos Du Val. This is a serious Cabernet Sauvignon that has an intense ruby color with aromas of blackberry, black currant, liquorice, vanilla, spice, and toast. It had beautiful fruit flavors with firm tannins. I definitely could have aged this wine for a few years...

The colour is a deep inky purple. The nose is complex with a deep concentration of black fruits, liquorice and spicy chocolate oak.
