2007 Mollydooker Verdelho The Violinist Tasting Note from Wine Reviews from WineLog.net Bookmark this Tasting Note
A fizzy red wine is interesting, but it seems like kind of a gimmick because the wine itself has nothing remarkable about it. It's very drinkable and goes well with various things, but nothing I'll remember fondly...

Domaine Schoffit Gewürtztraminer 2005 Tasting Note from Wine Reviews from WineLog.net Bookmark this Tasting Note
Deep amber in the glass. Florid nose of mineral oil and canned lychees & rose petals. Viscous on the palate. Whooee. Glycerine, fruity sweet lychee juice--seems slightly fizzy, peppery, tingly. Tried with a stirfry--too much, too overpoweringly fruity. Low acidity, but far from flabby. Fruit is very very very full, runs the gamut from apple-tart to almost spicy-buttery. Notes of peach & nectarine...
