Nose: Red berry and black berry fruit, with a Creme Brulée and some spicy coffee aromas.
Palate: Not as full port-bodied as anticipated, but still good, with the same fruit and creme as on the palate, but the spice, clove and pepper are more pronounced here and on the finish, in this dessert wine made from traditional Portuguese varietals...

A very good example of the quality of Cabernet that McLaren Vale can produce. Blueberry / creme de cassis fruit characters. Opened up significantly after being open a couple of hours, and still tasted great the next day...
