Big choclatey tannins, black cherry and cedar. Tight right now but will open up from 2008 through 2012.

Juicy, but big enough that you could pair it with a wide variety of food. I "dumbed it down" with a peppercorn turkey and extra sharp cheddar sandwich, and it went perfectly. Had a very strong black cherry flavor. For $10, it was a great buy.

Blackstone 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Note from Corkd.com

Heavy aroma of black cherry. Has a very young taste, especially for a cabernet. A nice balance of sweet and dry. Overall was very decent but seems like it would benefit from a couple of years of aging, as was, however, it was only average.

Smith-Berry Norton

Garnet in color, with black cherry, raspberry, licorice & spice on nose. Black cherry, white pepper & vanilla nuances on palate, with a cleansing acidity adding to the “food wine” quality. Good fruit, bright acidity, long finish & refreshingly unique.
2005 Girasole Vineyards Sangiovese
Tasting Note from Wine Reviews from WineLog.net
Medium ruby in color with bright aromas of blackcherry, raspberry, and red plum. This wine has a zesty crisp acidity that showcases the bright red fruit. The longer, cooler fermentation than most red wines allows the fruit to come to the forefront. No oak also preserves the fruit flavors. Nice medium stylish Sangiovese that is not over the top, but perfectly balanced for easy drinking...
