A very delicate, dry Gewurztraminer. Subtle, under-ripe pear, with a really stretched out finish; apricots, clove, and spice. All very sublte with a steely overtone. I like this. I drank it with a few blue points, and wood smoked mussels. Crazy...

Lots of fruit and cream (maybe some sur lie action?) followed by a slight marzipan note on the finish. Winemaking:Ripe Pinot Gris grapes were hand harvested from our Naramata vineyard. Grapes were destemmed and gently pressed. Settled juice was barrel fermented (cold), then stirred on lees for 3 months prior to bottling. Bouquet: Ripe peaches, dried apricots, citrus overtones and a subtle yet creamy oak complexity. Palate: Full bodied, with rich stone fruit intensity, and a clean dry cashew...

Call me a snob, but I gotta tell ya, I was a bit put back by the screw-top... But that's just me... Anyway, it's a decent chard, with got a pretty long finish, and some nice flavors of pears, apricots, melons. There was also something else I couldn't quite pinpoint... maybe almonds(?)... or maybe it's just something else with the oak(?), I just couldn't quite pick it up. My main gripe...
