Lured by the purple label I was. I should have been deterred by the Aussie-Noveau style. I've had a lot of wine in my days, but this one takes the cake... the burnt one that is. We opened this wine one night, not hoping for much as it's clearly not going to put anyone into sticker shock. I really have never tasted anything worse. I have nothing against "inexpensive" wines. I'm a frequenter of the Chuck when I can get my hands on it. If you see this one at your local TJ's, I'd stear clear. A light fruity flavor is overpowered by a sharp bite. This is not a crisp finish that I am talking about. We even let the wine aerate over an hour, and then even a day. The scary thing was that after a day, it tasted even worse if you can believe it; I know I couldn't. The light fruitiness was gone, and all that was left was the sharp harsh bite. I give this wine kudos; I never thought anything could taste so bad.
