This wine was the star at a wine tasting I attend Saturday. Of the 16 tried, this one by far was the best.
I've never tried a malbec wine before so I don't have a base for comparison but this one had a full, slightly fruity taste that was quite enjoyable.
Pezzuli 2006 Malbec
Pezzulis Malbec is classic, with somewhat brooding aromas anddarkish fruit that has an herbal, almost resiny edge to it. We alsofound pretty floral nuances, and we liked the quality of soft oak,which is not so strong that it hides the fruit. Drink now through 2008.
