Casa Castillo Monastrell 2005

Reviewed by on Thursday, February 7, 2008 on Wine Reviews from WineLog.net

Cherry, plummy fruit aromas, plus well rounded baking spices and hints of pepper and oak are inviting and comforting. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, with very soft tannins. The flavors are straightforward dry cherry and oak, and the finish is moderately long, with evolving fruit and tannins.
