Medium-bodied, deep ruby wine with bitter tannins and a strong tannic aftertaste. Initial tastes are of oak, fruit, and spice, with some peppery scents.

Fruity, thin. Bark but no bite.

Lots of fruit and berry, definitely in the style of a new world wine. Smooth on the palate but with a touch too much tannin for my taste. Lacked the sophistication that you would see from some better wines of this style but overall a very nice wine for the price.
