Fruit, jam? Maillard reactions . . . can't tell. This wine turns my higher brain functions off.

Full-bodied with full but well-integrated tannins, ripe and earth-tinged fruit caress the palate and glide through a medium finish. Very well balanced. 89 points.
Composition: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit.

Very deep, rich, full-flavoured wine. It has to settle down AT LEAST 5-6 hours before tasting, otherwise and strong scent of alcohol will ruin your experience. This wine has to breathe a lot. When ready to serve, it offers a strong cherry flavour with touches of wood and a slight acidity. Very good with meat and spiced meals. Not a huge classic, but a very decent pick off the shelf.
