This may sound weird considering I have 300 or so bottles of wine (plus another five cases I picked up today to be used in the wine appreciation class beginning later this month at Indiana University South Bend). Last weekends Examiner featured a job ad for hospitality/cellar door staff. Apparently the new cellar door/Cafe is opening in December. Is this good for the Relbia area? I think so. Close to the airport, close to Launceston, a larger operation is going to eventually pull in more visitors to the area...

Wyndham Estate is located in Braxton, around 20-30min drive north of Pokolbin in the Lower Hunter Valley. Located on a sizable estate, there are function facilities which cater for weddings and other events, along with a cellar door that contains two very large tasting bars. The staff are good for a laugh and during our late afternoon visit, were engaging in a fair amount of friendly banter...
