Yeah, Jermann seems to never find a Chard that couldn't bludgeon with an oak two by four. I stay away. That said, they make a killer Gewürztraminer (just called Traminer) that is worth the tariff if it can be found, little made.

Hey Marc. Coincidentaly I had the 05 of this last week. Didn't really take detailed notes but my impressions were similiar to yours. Pretty big for a pinot grigio but still enjoyable. Much better than the 05 chardonnay we also had(slathered in oak).
