NZ Export Stats
I posted some graphs last week, about the export value. They also showed that we were getting $6.89 per 750ml bottle on average. Heres a little bit more in the way of graphs.
You can see below that the bulk of the volume comes from white wine receipts.
As a consequence, they have a large influence on the total value of exports even though red wine makes a larger impact.

The German wine export grew by 11% in value and 4% in volume over the 12 month period ending in April ’06. It is the popularity of the Riesling grape that is driving demand for German wines.
