Holy cow. Ficklin wants 350.00 for that bottle. You could probably buy both the Rare Wine Co. bottles for that.

I've got one of those Ficklin's. My Wife gave it to me as a gift 8 or so years ago. I think she paid something like $75. $350 now...wow!???

Bob, I hear that the way to go if you want a dessert wine from '57 is Huet vouvray moelleux. Meanwhile, I have a Borgogno '57 barbaresco (highly questionable vintage though) that I'd love to open if we can ever figure out time to get together. Peter
