Piemonte, Italy. 5.5% alcohol. Cork. Approx $A18. The Wine Report 2007 by Tom Stevenson mentions that 2005 was not kind to Moscato - with widespread rot and a general lack of balance. Moscato IS unbalanced. It is inherently sweet and fun. There is never any seriousness to counterbalance the simple pleasure. It is like the thrill you experience as an adult playing in a children's playground...
