Le pays du matin calme
Retour de Paris hier. Moulu.

I am blushing at the computer screen once again! Tom Wark at Fermentation has written another very nice post about us. Check it out! www.fermentation.typepad.com...

On the Road Again
I'm off to Châteauneuf-du-Pape again. Marvin was joking with me yesterday that he should put travel restrictions on me, as I seem to be in the Rhône a lot these days. It does seem like I was just there: 1, and I focused primarily on the 2005s from the northern end of the valley (1...

Chardonnay...again
Wine again. This remains predominantly a wine blog, despite recent evidence to the contrary. Two more data points from the Chardonnay trail, this time from France and Chile.
Blason de Bourgogne Chardonnay 2005 Saint-Veran, Burgundy, France
This medal-encrusted wine (it won three gongs at the 2006 International Wine Challenge) is interesting, in that it represents the new face of inexpensive...
On the Road Again
Well, I barely get time to catch my breath after the New York Wine Experience before I have to hit the road again. I'm heading off to the Northern Rhône for my annual slate of visits with producers. I'll be focusing on any 2005s that haven't made their way to the marketplace yet, along with a look at the '06 and '07 vintages...
